Well, I'm well into a month of teaching high school again and I swear I am constantly picking up my jaw from the ground. I cannot believe some of the things I hear and see with these students. Nothing like I have ever experienced. It's amazing what a difference 6 years makes. I haven't taught for 6 years and it is so different from before. These high school kids are a completely different breed from before. The good news is is that I have a break coming up where I can just chill with the family. I'm needing that so badly although I feel like I'm finally getting into the swing of things.
Today was Weezy's fairy party! SO FUN! I'll have to post pictures in the next few days...
I realized today too that Easter is less than a month away so I need to bust those Spring decorations out...hmmm... maybe next weekend!

I'm an Educational Assistant in Canada and I have noticed a great difference in students since I last worked in a high school 6 years ago. I find students to have very little motivation, have a great sense of entitlement and be disrespectful. Of course there are a LOT of great students too but so rarely do you get to spend much time with them.
